Great place. Referred to Rick by a local farmer and I felt fortunate to find an honest mechanic who explained all of my situations very clearly. Turned out the service I needed was not one they provided, so they sent me out the door with a lot of information and didn't charge me a single cent. Trust Rick

Rick and his team did a great job fixing my 2012 Ford Escape. Transmission replaced within the time frame he thought it would take. I recommend them highly. Good work guys.
I will bring my car here to Rick and his crew any and every time my Jeep needs work. After having bought a lemon and having to deal with multiple issues after issues Rick worked with me on many different levels and understood my frustration. This was the third shop I had taken my jeep to for an inspection for a noise that sounded like a clicking rubbing noise right under my seat sounding like a bad u-joint or drive shaft and to also replace my o2 sensors. The first two shop said there was nothing wrong and it could be this, this or this.... nah.. I wanted a third opinion before I spent a dime. Told Rick my issue with the car his men took the jeep out, test drove it and told me my TC case most likely had failed and wanted to inspect it further and it turns out it needed to be rebuild. And even after having a full tune up; upstream- downstream o2 sensors, wires and boots, my engine light kept coming on and finally did a compression in the cylinder to find the issue. They do a great job and I trust them with my Jeep.
Love these guys! Been taking my vehicles to them for years... Always great service, and never get the females don't know anything about cars treatment! Everyone I've sent to them have been happy too...
These guys know what they're doing. Ron and his crew turned my 11 year old Yukon Denali with a problematic transmission, into a factory spec unit with no frills or hassle's. In fact, they also offer an 10 year annual check-up just to make sure the transmission continues to perform to spec (Gotta love that). These guys were courteous, professional, and integral about their repairs and service, and set the right expectation at the end.
I have taken my van to Aamco since I had my transmission replaced with them 1 yr ago. I had a couple other things go bad as it its an older van. The work was done fast and professionally. They are very reasonably priced and I would recommend their service to anyone. They always keep the damaged part to show me what exactly went wrong. I am very thankful for that and feel I get my moneys worth every time. Even this last visit I noticed they fixed my window button. It had been broken for months. I didn't even ask. It was a nice surprise. I will return in the future for any maintenance or car issues. They are very good guys : )
Rick and his crew did a great job of keeping me in the loop as far as what my car needed done, and what my costs were going to be. other than a delayed delivery from one of their suppliers, everything went very smoothly. Even though they are located across town from where I live, I feel Rick and his techs do great work at a reasonable price, so we make the trek to their shop.
Excellent! Great Customer Service! Rick came in Saturday Morning to let me get my Truck as I and my Wife had been fighting the Flu. I couldn't make it in Friday and he Blessed us with an extra Day to get better!

I was very happy with the professional service experienced at AAMCO Milwaukie. My 2002 F350 was serviced in a timely manor and I was updated regarding the overall condition of my vehicle. I will definitely return for service in the future.

I was in desperate need of transmission work on my 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. I had a recent astronomical quote from the dealership that left me in tears. I called Aamco and was given a quote for the same work at nearly a $1500 difference. Needless to say I immediately took my van to them. The friendliness, proffessionalism, knowlege, and willingness to work within my budget, was hands down the best experience I have ever had at an auto repair shop. I would highly recommended Aamco of Milwaukie to my friends and family.

My EGR was finally replaced where 3 other mechanic shops- replaced something else. Also Bernards Garage let me leave without fixing a pinhole in a vacuum hose- which triggered my engine light back on and made my transmission shift like it was going out!
Paul was very knowledgable, helpful and patient with us and our repair. He went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable with the work done, parts used and the cost. He seemed to genuinely care about the service and results for our vehicle. That is a rare trait in today's customer service people. We appreciate all that he did for us and our vehicle.
They were very hospitable, and fairly priced. The dude at the front desk drove me to my house after submitting my vehicle, and upon realizing my house keys were still attached to my car keys, drove me back to the shop to retrieve them, and back home again. Awesome service.

Paul originally spoke with me he was very courteous and professional. My work hours didn't allow me to pick up my car during their open hours so Paul stayed until six to let me pick up my car. I then forgot my drivers license and he drove back even after that and allowed me to pick it up so I wouldn't have to drive off without my drivers license. They didn't drive force me to buy extras when I couldn't afford do so I got what was absolutely necessary and a checklist for what I should be looking for in the future. Overall a good experience I would definitely recommend Paul and this establishment.

Great, fast, attentive same day service.
Outstanding and informative staff. Had a basic maintenance check with diagnostic and was given estimates for future tune up along with what I may need to look out for in the future. Will be returning with my other vehicle.

I just want you to know that I came to your shop directly from a different repair shop. I explained the exact same details of the problem I experienced with my car. The other shop said my transmission was bad and that the car was basically undrivable. They recommended repairs well in excess of $3,000 and would not have made the repairs that the car needed. You recommended a new motor mount and a thermostat. That completely solved the problem at about 1/10th the cost recommended by the other shop. I appreciate your honesty and would recommend you in a heartbeat.

I think that your Milwaukie AAMCO has some of the nicest, most helpful people working there. We brought our Tahoe there late Friday afternoon without any warning and we were able to leave it. The manager (Sean I believe) was so friendly and reassured us that he would start on it first thing Monday. Everything went just as he said and it's still running great !! The cost to have the transmission rebuilt was very reasonable !! If I lived in Oregon I would definitely refer everyone with car issues there !!!
